
Royal DuB. Joslin
Royal has over 35 years of business management experience in both the public and private sectors. Throughout Mr. Joslin's management career he has worked closely with investments, financial planning, insurance and employee benefit issues.
Today, he is engaged in a broad range of financial services with particular emphasis on retirement planning, estate planning, investment planning, succession, business succession and transition planning for high net worth individuals, business owners, executives, families, and individuals with assets of $1.0 million or more. He partners with other advisors and specialists from Lincoln Financial Advisors to provide quality assistance for his clients to meet their short, near and long term goals and objectives.
Mr. Joslin grew up in Annapolis, Maryland and Newport, Rhode Island. After graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy, he served eight years as an engineering officer in the U.S Navy on a nuclear powered cruiser in the Western Pacific. Later he served as a member of the faculty at the U.S. Naval Academy. As part of his Naval Service he also achieved a Masters of Science in Operations Research and Transportation.
After his Naval Service, Royal completed his M.B.A. at the Wharton School of Business with an emphasis on finance and transportation. After graduation from Wharton, he entered the private business sector with a maritime firm in Philadelphia and helped the company transition to a New York Stock exchange listed public company. During his tenure at that company, he was the executive and Senior Operations Officer in charge of safely operating a fleet of nearly 100 tugs and barges carrying petroleum products along the East and Gulf Coasts of the United States.
Changing careers, he entered the Financial Services industry joining AXA Advisors at the Karr Barth Agency. He continued that career to this day where he now is an Investment Advisor Representative and Registered Representative of Lincoln Financial Advisors, headquartered in Philadelphia, PA. Royal primarily conducts business along the Eastern Seaboard.
